According to the official notification released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on behalf of the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), applications are invited for filling approximately 9,000+ vacancies of Officers (Scale I, II, III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) for the 2026 recruitment cycle.
This is one of the largest banking recruitment drives in India this year. Candidates from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and all across India who have a graduation degree can apply online from June 2026.

Eligibility Criteria (June 2026)
Office Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Proficiency in the local language of the state. Age: 18-28 years.
Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Preference for Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing, Cooperation, Law, or Management. Age: 18-30 years.
Officer Scale II: Bachelor’s degree + minimum 2 years experience in banking/financial institution. Specialist officers need relevant professional qualification (CA, MBA, Law, etc.). Age: 21-32 years.
Officer Scale III: Bachelor’s degree + minimum 5 years experience. Age: 21-40 years.
Selection Process 2026
Office Assistant: Preliminary Exam → Main Exam → Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Officer Scale I: Preliminary Exam → Main Exam → Interview → LPT
Officer Scale II & III: Single Online Exam → Interview → LPT
The preliminary exam is objective type with sections on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The main exam adds General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, and Financial Awareness sections.
